I live in the State of Indiana - in the Southwestern corner of it. In a small town on the Ohio River. The town is Newburgh, and it's a short distance to the east of Evansville. A somewhat large town about 300 miles south of Chicago, Illinois. The climate here is very hot and humid in the summer.

The offer to do the job usually comes from the client who accepts the bid - that is, who is willing to pay the sum asked for by the writer.
